Facebook, while being a very exciting and entertaining social media network is also a experiment lab for geeks and technology enthusiats. There are many told/untold tricks available on Facebook. And, if you put your mind in finding them, you might end up with a whole new trick.
This new Facebook trick will let you to set two different profile pics on your Facebook profile at the same time. Having two different profile pictures/display pic at the single Facebook profile is actually possible.
Steps To Get Two Different Facebook Profile Pictures
Step 1: Open Your Photos Album and open your ‘Profile Pictures’ album. Here you can see all your previously uploaded profile pictures.
Step 2: Open any of your earlier used profile picture by clicking it (DO NOT use the current one). The picture will open in slideshow style. Copy the unique 15-digit fb-id value from the address-bar URL.
Step 3: Go to your Facebook timline. Click on “Edit Profile Picture” that appears when you hover your mouse over your Facebook profile picture. Now, select “Edit Thumbnail” option.
Step 4: After selecting Edit Thumbmail option, a pop-up window will appear. Here, right click on your profile picture, select Inspect Element from the right-click context menu. Now, chrome will open a small console window at the bottom of your chrome browser.
Step 5: In the chrome’s console window, scroll down till you reach the code starting from:

The code have a small arrow, click it to expand the code and search this line:

At the second line, change the value provided at value=”xxxxxxxxxxxx” with the 15-digit number you have copied in Step 2 by double-clicking the 15-digit number appearing at console. Make sure, both the values (old and new) are different. For instance, my fbid for the current profile pic is 411122845687037 which I need to replace by 402423846556937 (copied at Step 2).
Step 6: After replacing, close the console box. Now, click on “Save” button at the pop-up window. And, you’re done.
You can check, your profile picture below timeline cover is different then your profile pic appearing before your status.
