Loading time of a blog is really an important factor visitors don't like such sites that take too much time to load. They will surely press back button and go to another place for the information they are searching for.
So, here are some very important tips that you can use to optimize your blog load time:
1. Don’t use an Image as Blog Background:
A background image is responsible for slow loading speed. Always use background colors, not an image.
2. Limited Number of Posts at Home Page:
If you show too many posts at the Homepage then it will take more time to load. So, only show 8-10 post on the home page.
3. Use "Read More" (Jump Break) Links:
Use "read more" link on your blog to show only post summary at homepage. It will reduce the space taken by a post and hence, faster blog load time. To do this, click on "insert jump link" just next to the "insert a video" button on the post editor.
