Social media sites play an important role for building up traffic on your blog. For this you have to go on each of the social media site individually and share your post by copying and pasting the link again and again. Isn't it time consuming ?
Sharing manually is nice because you can add a personal touch to each post. However, it’s also a time-consuming process. This is why many bloggers opt for automatic sharing, which is not only easier, but more convenient.
1. Dlvr.it
Dlvr.it (pronounced “Deliver It”) is an excellent tool to automatically distribute your blog to your favorite social networks. Dlvr.it supports Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. Once you sign up, simply enter your RSS feed, choose the social network you want to post to, and you’re all done.
- Dlvr.it has the ability to have multiple routes and receive multiple RSS feeds per route. Basically, routes are made up of two parts: sources, which are your RSS feeds and destinations, which are your social networks.
- Another feature that Dlvr.it provides is stats for you to see what links are most popular.
- There’s also the option between using Dlvr.it’s link shortening service or Bit.ly (They also give you the ability to create your own link shortening service or use goo.gl).
- Last, but not the least, are the Direct Post and Flipstream functions. The Direct Post allows you to create a post, designate destinations and schedule when it goes out.
2. Twitterfeed.com
Twitterfeed is probably the most popular RSS feed to social network publishing service around. It publishes to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Aside from not having as many destinations to publish to, Twitterfeed works a little differently than Dlvr.it, each blog is given its own feed (what Dlvr.it calls routes).
Therefore, it might take a little more time to set up if you have several blogs, whether you want them all to post to the same networks or not.

3. Mailchimp.com
MailChimp is another plugin that only shares to Facebook and Twitter, but it goes a step further by pulling in reactions (from Facebook and Twitter) and displaying them inline with your regular comments. You can publish to multiple accounts on the same social network, and you can customize the messages associated with your posts. It requires the use of custom apps in order to share to your accounts.
When you publish a new blog post, how do you get the word out? Do you manually go to several different social networks and share your post, or do you let a plugin or a Web service do the work for you? Waiting for your answers. Thanks :)
