8 Tips To Boost Smartphones Battery Life

All the Smartphones comes with diverse range of features and functionality. We can play games, watch movies, surf internet etc. But we also need to care about one thing i.e., Battery Life. As without Power, no smartphone works.

So, it is very important to consider buying a smartphone with having Lone Battery Life. But, if we explore market, we finds that most of the smartphones lasts for just one or two days.



Until developers develop much powerful hardware to increase battery life, lets read these practices which can help you to increase your smartphone’s battery life.

1.Charge Your Battery Correctly

The thing which matters the most is how much you’ve charged your battery and the way your charge your smartphone battery. Don’t frequently charge your battery after consuming just few amount of your battery. It only shortens your battery life. Nickel-Based battery life reduces each time when you recharge it.

Charge your Smartphone’s battery when it is about to finish and let it charge until it charged completely.

2. Battery Optimizer

If you are using Android, iOS, Smartphones than you can search Android Market, Apple Store or Google for any powerful Battery Optimizer app. It will scan your settings and recommend you the most optimized settings to save maximum battery.

3. Turn Off Phone Vibrations

Vibrations helps you a lot in getting notified silently when someone text you or calls you but actually, Vibrations uses a lot of Battery then the normal ringtones. Use Vibrations when it is necessarily needed or at least switch to low magnitude vibrations.

4. Reduce The Brightness

As, while using Smartphones, Screen always glows and if it glow much brighter then it will surely utilize more battery. So, it is a clever idea to reduce the smartphone’s brightness so that it will use relatively less power.

5. Minimize Screen Timeout

Screen Timeout is the time for which your cellphones’ screen will remain lit after you finish interaction with it. Obviously, minimizing screen timeout will help you to save Battery power.

6. Web Browsing

Browsing Internet from Smartphones takes more power. So, if it is not necessary, don’t use Internet. Also, if you are surfing Internet with lightning fast 4G connection then slow down to 3G network as not all of your Apps needs 4G connection and as 4G connection uses much resources and power.

7. Turn Off Bluetooth, WiFi & GPS

These all cellular networks drains lots of power from your phone’s battery so don’t remain it ON unnecessarily. Turn them OFF.

If your smartphone is having GPS Tracking system then many applications are using it to track your location. Like Google Maps to track your location, path, etc, Search Engines to provide you personalized and localized results. So, if you can live without it, turn GPS OFF.

8. Monitor Your Applications

Monitor all running apps and services of your smartphones, even the background apps too. Monitoring them all can be helpful as you can close unnecessary Apps and Services which are using your Battery Power for nothing.
